I love to prepare fossils. What's more I get paid to do it sometimes. Here's something I worked on recently. I didn't find it, but I did prepare it. I still find it pretty amazing to see the change from start to finish. I see the all the small steps in between, so jumping from start to finish is kind of dramatic for me.

Yeah, it was super foggy in the field last Friday. It made me think of the day mists from the Mistborn Trilogy, except the sun isn't red.
Do you know what the bone belonged to?
