Hooray for Chemistry!
Not ten minutes ago, I was sitting in my Chemistry class waiting for it to start. The professor, Dr. Brown, hadn't shown up yet and people were talking. A lady came in and shushed everyone. Amazingly, all immediately went quiet. She announced "Dr. Brown has been detained. As a result, class has been cancelled." Almost before she finished, a loud cheer went out, people stood up, people raised their arms in the air in acts of praise, people clapped. "Yay!"
All I could do was laugh because I expected more a more restrained exuberance. It made me feel a lot better that I'm not alone in my dislike of that class.
