Nice. And that is why I could never do paleontology. I just hate HATE HAATTTEE puzzles. Even when I have the box to go by. So thank you for doing it so I don't have to!
You've always loved puzzles, huh? I obviously haven't taken them that far. Also, I would likely have NEVER seen the bone chunks for all the rocks in that picture!
That picture doesn't do the fossils justice. They were white rocks among all the red and brown ones, so they popp out pretty well when you're actually walking around there.
You act like you find ancient dinosaur bones every day.... Do you? This was so fascinating to me and Shawn. You are doing what you told me many years ago you wanted to do. I think you were in Kindergarten. :)
I don't find them every day, but it's not uncommon when I'm at work and in the field. Most of the time, though, they're not in as good condition as those ones. I've been meaning to do another post with more fossils, but I just haven't gotten around to it. Keep checking for updates!

Cool Dan! I'm glad you posted these pictures. It's fun to see what you tell me about over the phone.
After a good night's sleep and a little more research, I figured out that the top one is a tibia and the bottom one is a femur. I was way off.

Amazing. I like puzzles, too.
